Autism Speaks

The first annual Walk for Autism, sponsored by West Central Wireless, was held on April 5, 2008 in San Angelo, Texas.  Several thousand participants gathered in the parking lot of Foster Field, home of the San Angelo Colts, to show their support for children with Autism and their families.  Several refreshment and activity booths were available, as well as, demonstrations by the San Angelo Fire Department.

This symbolic walk was held to raise awareness of Autism and to begin the local fundraising process.
